Actuarial Analyst: Group Risk Business Development

Responsible for growing the reassurance business by developing new markets and client relationships. In the context of Group Risk insurance.
• Acquiring profitable reassurance business, which includes analysing new business opportunities;
• Assisting in developing and driving Life strategy which includes financial objections and delivering innovation to our clients;
• Managing clients pro-actively, taking responsibility for deliveries including tenders, quotes, new product development and research;
• Managing client data collection and validation; and
• Collaborating with MRE experts from other local (and occasionally international
• Functional areas such as actuarial product and pricing, claims, etc. to generate appropriate solutions.
Qualification Requirements:
• Degree in either Actuarial Sciences, Statistics or Mathematics
• Close to qualifying or making good progress on actuarial exams
Experience:
• Preferably 3- 5 years' insurance experience (preferably reinsurance)
• Product development and pricing experience in Life insurance
• Client-facing experience essential
• Marketing exposure and experience
• Strong interpersonal, network and negotiation skills
