One of our long-standing clients in the Insurance Industry is currently looking for an Actuarial Analyst (Life Valuations – IFRS 17), based at their offices in Johannesburg.

Purpose

The Actuarial Analyst contributes to the organizational goals by providing support to senior analysts and managers within the General Insurance Actuarial team.

Education and Experience Required:

• Has passed all actuarial exams, or is very close to completion,
• Has 2 to 4 years work experience (Valuations/Reserving/Pricing are beneficial)
• Has had substantial exposure to the IFRS17 standard,
• Is proficient in Prophet with 1 to 2 years modelling experience.
