Reserving, capital and business insights
• Assisting the valuation process and provide insights on financial results and performance.
• This includes: data validation, reserving, solvency capital calculations, regulatory requirements (including offshore regulators), experience investigations, development and maintenance of tools to analyse actuarial data and results in order to enhance management reporting, preparation for board reporting
Process efficiency and automation
• Ensure processes are efficient, robust and fit for purpose. Ensure the control environment is adequate and effective.
IFRS17 development and implementation
• Assist in the various elements of IFRS17 development and implementation for the Wealth business including data and infrastructure, policy and methodology including assumption setting, transition calculations, actuarial modelling support, actuarial and finance process enablement
• Provide mentorship to junior actuarial students
Ad-hoc projects
• Support the delivery of relevant projects, as and when these arise/. These include (but not limited to) business planning and forecasting

• Qualified or nearly qualified actuary (with a minimum of 11 exam credits)
• At least 4 years actuarial experience
• Experience in life investment products or life valuations will be advantageous
• Strong analytic skills and attention to detail
• IFRS 17 knowledge and Prophet skills will be a distinct advantage. l5.5o
