Assist Contracting Manager with the administration for all contracting processes
Check rates once received from the data loading team
Update extranet with supplier info pertaining to allocated portfolio
Assist with processing of all specials in Tourplan
Communicate all supplier changes i.e. closures and specials to Communications Department for distribution to all business units
Handle rate queries pertaining to allocated portfolio
Follow up on all outstanding information for Freesale and Allocation contracts
Follow up and file all signed supplier contracts
Process amended contracts to be updated in Tourplan
Update contracting supplier document in Supplier Relationship Management System
Ensure rates are updated for each of the suppliers in the Guest Conservation Contribution document
Ensure that the supplier details in the Extranet are up to date
Update shared calendar with all supplier meetings
Follow up with suppliers on outstanding rates
Assist in improving Terms and conditions applicable to Tourvest Destination Management
Assist in improve account facilities with allocated suppliers
Schedule regular face to face meetings for the Contracting Manager to meet with the suppliers
Assist in driving Supplier Brochure Participation
Ensure all internal contracting deadlines are met as per company
Assist Contracting in the vetting of the non-accommodation suppliers
Arrange and partake in the planning of the supplier functions
Maintain relationships with portfolio Tourism body
Maintain all supplier relationships
Schedule annual/bi-annual training for regional tourism bodies
QUALIFICATIONS

Matric/Grade 12
AND EXPERIENCE

2 Years contracting administration experience
Knowledge of South Africa (Tourist attractions, Seasonality, Routes, distances and driving times, Places of interest, Geography, Transport infrastructure)
Hospitality knowledge is preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS

Basic Financial Knowledge (Debits & Credits, Mark-ups, Calculating Margin & VAT, Cost of sales, Commission, Profit, Breakeven)
Tourplan would be preferred
