Administration Clerk

Responsibilities

Data capture POD on DTS and check for outstanding loads then follow up with SP regarding those loads
Debrief POD
Manage and communicate the daily outstanding POD's with the transport provide
Capture all IBT's and collection requests received via telephone and fax onto helpdesk
Liaise with clients regarding IBT's, general queries
Administer relevant documentation and print labels for IBT's
Monitor IBT daily control sheet/report and Manage IBT 4 day old report
File IBT daily and ensure always up to date
Handle store queries and all SP daily delays or delivery problems
Communicate with stores on all stores delays or delivery queries
Capture daily on helpdesk process all activities relating to stores issues & delivery issues
Capture and verify local transport schedule, despatch local load stats on special Matrix
Manage Switchboard
Manage booking of boardroom
Lead time extract from DTS
General Filling

General Requirements
Matric
PC literacy - MS Office, Excel intermediate level
Certificate in Business Administration advantageous
Min 2-3 years’ experience in similar role
Attention to detail, accurate with good numeric skills
Must be able to prioritize and have organizational skills
Must have a sense of internal control / audit practices and have the ability to maintain appropriate systems
Must have the ability to work with tight deadlines
Helpdesk or similar experience with clients
Team player; Communication skills; Able to maintain confidentiality; Stress Tolerance; Planning, Organizing and Control; Detail Orientation; Problem Assessment and Service Orientation
The position requires a highly disciplined self- starter that can work independently and within a team, under pressure and meet deadlines
