Our client requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven candidate to be appointed in the above mentioned vacant position.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree / tertiary education – B. Com degree will be an advantage
• Minimum of 4 years’ administration experience in a manufacturing environment
• Stress and crisis management
• Numerical skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Computer literacy, highly competent in MS Excel
• Accurate with flair for giving attention to detail
• Must have planning, organising and prioritising skills
• An assertive, self-starter who is positively motivated
• Must be diligent and innovative
• Be a team player, good communication abilities

Duties Include but not limited to the following:

• Planning and organising stock counts and finalisation there-off
• Control and verify document capturing
• Stock losses and gains analysis and explanations
• Control stock movements, by production journals
• Control invoicing and returns
• Able to handle documents control
• Monitor computer access
• Inter-factory transaction control, i.e. proof of delivery and credit notes
• Compile annual budgets
• Budget control and orders
• Fixed asset register management
• Management reporting
• Flash forecasting
• Accounting and recording accuracy
• Supplier contract management
• Control orders, intakes, receipts and payment requests
• Supplier stock to account reconciliations
• Continuous evaluation and development of systems
• Understand the OHSA and food safety
• Identify problem areas
• Manpower utilisation – overtime and absenteeism
• Develop individual key performance standards with individuals
• Identify skills development and training needs
• Monitor performance by means of bi-annual appraisals and annual performance evaluations
