REQUIREMENTS: The suitable applicant is required to meet the following:

General Requirements:

Matric essential
Relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage
Own car is essential
Must be a south African Citizen
Fully Bilingual

Technical Requirements: (Kindly note these will be strongly evaluated)

Must have 1-3 years’ experience in several areas of office administration as listed under knowledge requirements below:
Advanced knowledge in:
Debtors
Quotations
Product costing
Invoicing
Sales Order processing
Stock control
Office Administration (Reception, Filing and Typing)
Must come from an engineering industry preferably Process Weighing Solutions and Batching applications sector
Must be proficient in Pastel Partners and MS Office Suite

Behavioural Requirements:

Excellent communication, interpersonal relationship and listening skills
Strong organizational and prioritizing skills with a high ability to deal with a countless amount of responsibilities and keep track of everything that needs to be done
Time management and reliability is crucial and must be willing to go above and beyond when urgent situations arise without any complaints or hesitation.
Conscientious of business hours and are always punctual to work
Value accuracy and work with speed

DUTIES: the ideal applicant will be required to perform the following duties and should display the below listed KPA’s in their CV’s and during the interview.


Debtors clerk duties.
Placing purchase orders / sales orders / quotations & Invoicing on Pastel.
Quotations to be done on products, services and costings to be done same day.
Sales order acknowledgements and processing of orders to clients to be done same day.
Updating clients on their orders on a regular basis.
Following up with quotations sent.
Arranging and co-ordinating for orders to be collected or delivered.
Experience with dealing with courier companies.
Stock Control.
Assisting with procurement of stock and orders from local and overseas suppliers.
Full administration function including filing.
Opening job cards for orders and services.
Delivery notes and tracking thereof.
Answer telephone promptly and politely and direct calls to correct party.
