A multi-platform media production company have an exciting job opportunity for an Afrikaans Social Content Moderator to join their team on a contract basis. You will be moderating content across various social platforms set in a fast-paced and dynamic television environment. Your key job responsibilities as the Afrikaans Social Content Moderator in Johannesburg will include:

- Moderate various platforms online and social media content - to be published to websites and to broadcast
- Manage and engage with social media community queries about the show and the brand in general
- Tabulate reports detailing key storylines and online interactions within the community

Requirements for this Afrikaans Social Content Moderator job in Johannesburg:

- Must be bilingual (English and Afrikaans) but be able to speak, write and publish in Afrikaans
- Relevant tertiary education (degree in Journalism, Digital Communications, or Media)
- 1-2 years social media community management and / or publishing experience is beneficial
- Must be prepared to work flexible hours, after 17:00 and weekends
- Own transport an advantage
- Needs to be computer literate (experience with Apple Mac), technically minded, and have excellent MS Office software skills
- Should have a passion for digital media, and be a proven fast learner to learn new systems quickly
- Should be familiar with kykNET content and shows
- Journalism and writing skills an advantage
- Experience in the television broadcast environment an advantage
