Alphen Park, Pretoria East: JUNIOR ATTORNEY (FAMILY LAW)
Minimum Requirements:
-Fully bilingual in both Afrikaans and English (First and second languages a must)
-Matric / Grade 12
-LLB Degree completed and admitted as an Attorney
-3 to 5 years post admission experience in High Court & Magistrate’s Court Litigation and Family Law matters
-Fully independently functional
-Able to work under pressure essential for this position
-Computer literate in MS Office
-Computer literacy in Legal Suite advantageous
-Own reliable vehicle (Firm not on bus route)
-Stable employment record (no job hoppers)

-To start 1 January 2020
Duties:
-High Court & Magistrate’s Court Litigation
-Family Law matters
-Drafting of summonses, notices and pleadings, legal documentation relating to Family Law
-Correspondence and liaison with clients, attorneys, Family Advocate, Advocates and various experts in private practice (e.g. psychological / social / forensic)
-Attendance to High Court with clients and advocates
-Court appearances in Family Court
-Consultations with clients
Salary: ± R 15 000.00 gross (Negotiable depending on relevant experience – Junior Level)
