Area Operations Lead – Retail – Port Elizabeth
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Purpose of Position:

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for an Area Operations Lead for the Retail sector to cover the Eastern Cape & Western Cape (Garden Route) areas. This is a permanent position based in Gqeberha, (Port Elizabeth), Eastern Cape.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric, Tertiary Qualification in Business or Retail Management advantageous
• 3 years management experience in Operations in similar or same position in a retail environment
• Valid Drivers license; clean and clear criminal and credit record
• Able to travel Eastern & Western Cape areas, work extended hours where necessary
• Understanding of merchandise, planning, procurement and all related to store retail & fashion planning
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact and build strong relationships at all levels
• Proven managerial and leadership skills, motivating teams

• Setting sales targets

• Maintaining and increasing standards of customer service
• Driving team performance
• Controlling the training and development of your staff
• Understanding of merchandise, planning, procurement and all related to store retail & fashion planning

• Proven managerial and leadership skills, motivating teams
• Proactive management and the ability to work with little supervision
• Innovative thinker, problem solver & solution-focused, independent able to think and act with initiative
• Computer Literate Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to travel extensively within the region
