Graphic Designer / Art Director

Location: Northgate Estate, Milnerton, Cape Town
Salary: R23k – R27k per month plus provident fund

Requirements:
Relevant degree or diploma
Minimum 3 years' industry experience
Exceptional design portfolio, showcasing innovative concepts and quality executions
Sound understanding of marketing campaign executions
Ability to work independently as well as part of a marketing team
Experience in designing cutting-edge digital campaigns
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite
Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS
Exposure to CMS platforms such as Wordpress and Umbraco
Understanding of A/B and multivariate testing processes
Proven understanding of typography, layout, colour and grid structures
Competency in photography
Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
Highly creative and full of ideas
Curious in nature with varied interests
Analytical, organized and with excellent attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritise work efficiently
Confident and articulate, with excellent communication skills
Reliable, flexible and cooperative

Duties:
Undertake the full project life cycle – from brief to usability and build
Produce high quality designs from concept to completion, in accordance with brand guidelines
Design tasks include, and are not limited to, HTML banners, e-newsletters, microsite design, social media, infographics, brochures, presentations and internal document templates (e.g. Powerpoint, Word) etc
Liaise with key stakeholders to develop strategically sound creative solutions and solve site-wide design needs
Collaborate with designers from local and international companies
Stay up to date with digital trends, best practice and culture, attending events and engaging with the wider digital community
Present creative ideas and treatments to internal stakeholders in a professional manner
