Asset/Fleet Controller

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

The successful candidate must have Grade 12 with 3-5 years’ experience in coordinating fleet and assets management
A Relevant tertiary qualification in fleet/asset management will be an added advantage.
Mechanical understanding of equipment is required
Good, interpersonal, leadership, motivation planning, and communicating.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Management of the fleet/ assets under your control and the meeting of objectives set in the budget process. Maximum Utilization of Vehicles, to achieve operations objectives.
Accident / Incident investigation and submission of all documentation.
Ensuring that all equipment / machinery is serviced within the allowed service intervals and planned maintenance plan is developed and adhered to.
Maintaining of a high level of discipline, within the operations.
Administrative duties and Document control. Solving of queries and problem solving.
Deadline Driven
Submission of weekly fleet/asset reports
Must be willing to work out of normal hours as and when required.
Knowledge of electronic and manual asset management system.
Knowledge of Maintenance Plan and document control records.
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of computer literacy.
