Position: Assistant Accountant (Urgent)

Requirements
• Financial qualification
• 5 Years’ financial experience
• Exposure to manufacturing, mining or agriculture would be beneficial.
• Proficient in Sage Evolution Accounting.
• Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
• Strong numeracy skills with high level of accuracy
• Well-organised and able to meet deadlines.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Own transport
• Bilingual skills
Duties
• Daily transactions and capturing of accounts receivable and payable
• Financial duties up to balance sheet
• Follow up with customers & suppliers
• Review inventory reports for accuracy & trace errors
• Process cashbooks, journals and bank recons
• Prep for annual audits
• Authorise COS invoice for Accounts payable
• Recon on inventory on accounts receivable and payable
• Complete financial report & provide info as required
• Resolve errors in financial reports
• VAT returns
• Assist in prep of monthly management accounts
• Report to Finance Team Leader and Finance Manager
