Qualifications:
Be proficient in Sage Accounting/Pastel.
Business/Accounting Diploma
Work experience in the field

Responsibilities:
Data capturing: Pastel processing of all transactions to the Trial Balance stage
Sending out of Proof of Payments
Allocating payments to budgets
Proper record keeping on the server
Maintaining project budget recons and reconciliations to Pastel
Assisting with client contracts and supplier agreements
Maintaining supplier, client and customer databases
Assisting PA with day-to-day office administration requirements, when required
Credit card processing (receiving of slips and gathering information for allocations)
System enhancements and implementation
Ad hoc requirements expected of an Accountant as and when required

Desirable:
Business/Accounting Degree
Organized individual
