Assistant Fibre Optic Technician – Cape Town (Telecoms)

Leading Pan African telecoms company is urgently seeking an experienced Fiber Optic Technician for an exciting role in the Mother City.
You will install fibre cable, duct and other fibre related products, and you will splice and prepare fibre for splicing. Additionally, you will assist with testing and fault finding fibre.

Minimum requirements include but are not limited to the following:
• Matric / National Senior Certificate essential
• Certified Fibre Optic Technician qualification
• At least 2 years’ experience in working with Fibre infrastructure
• Telecommunications sector experience (minimum 1 year)
• Solid splicing skills and experience preparing fibre
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must currently be based in Cape Town
