ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER – Stellenbosch Wine Estate

Pick Me Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to assist with a busy 120-seater restaurant operations on a Wine Estate, Stellenbosch. The restaurant offers Asian Fusion cuisine and trades Breakfast and Lunch Wednesdays to Sundays.

We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic, extremely hands-on operator with a passion for hospitality Previous experience is essential. It is a pre-requisite to stay in the local vicinity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A qualification in hospitality management will be advantageous
• Guest and service centric
• Sound wine knowledge
• Own vehicle and driver’s licence will be advantageous
• Able to effectively manage and lead a team
• Excellent operational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills on all levels

Key Responsibilities:
• Effectively assist with daily restaurant operations
• Being actively on the floor, assisting the service teams with service
• Staff management and continued training
• Assist with inventory management
• Ensuring strict cleaning, hygiene and safety regulations

Remuneration: R10 000 Gross
