Role Summary:
This position will be responsible for supporting the HOS in the Sales Department by assisting with coordinating all sales projects / activities, business processes, KPI’s and various sales report. The Assistant to HOS is expected to support the HOS and ensure that the sales team effectively supports the existing network of Business Builders, Managers and Distributors. To liaise with internal stakeholders, to maintain good business relations with the Sales Team and other departments and to also drive important deadlines.
The position will be based in Johannesburg, South Africa, and might require occasional travel within South Africa from time to time.
This role requires an energetic, dynamic, self-motivated and well-structured individual that is creative; has the ability to successfully communicate; can timely provide reliable, accurate and meaningful reports.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience in the Direct Selling Industry a plus
• Proven track record working experience 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in Supporting
• Demonstrated skills in communication, presentation and influencing.
• Team-player with well-developed interpersonal skills.
• Proven time management and organizational skills.
• IT literate – Strong MS Office, include Excel skills and PowerPoint and MS Outlook
• Ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels within the business.
• Commitment to implement best practices in Sales.
• Superior multitasking skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and get it done attitude
• Fluent English and any other languages a plus.

Responsibilities & Requirements:
• Support HOS to Manage the Day to Day Activities within the sales department
• Ensure that Area Managers’ monthly calendars are received and consolidated for HOS to sign off.
• Ensure that the Area Managers’ monthly Purchase Orders are received timeously, processed for payment and balanced for HOS to sign off.
• Co-ordinate / Compile and Distribute monthly Sales Reports to Area Managers & HOS. Update and communicate daily / weekly / monthly reports planner deadlines.
• Ensure that Area Managers’ monthly incentives are prepared timeously for HOS to sign off and hand over to HR.
• Check and manage Area Managers, Distributor and Managers’ monthly Checklist and consolidate accordingly, report back to entire Sales Team at monthly Sales Meeting.
• Timely provide accurate, meaningful and reliable monthly reports to Area Managers and HOS.
o Summarise Area Managers’ Monthly Reports for HOS for Monthly Sales Report
o Prepare necessary reporting for Sales Meetings and Monthly Sales Meeting with MD
• Liaise, develop and maintain good relationships with all other departments and any other internal function so that Business Builder, Manager & Distributor needs are addressed swiftly, and any queries are resolved immediately and communicated accordingly.
