Are you looking for a career in sales and/or the event industry? Are you hard working and have great attention to detail? Do you work well in a small team environment, yet can be left to get on with the job alone? Then this is the job for you. A small but dynamic company, specialising in events and unique experience for local and international groups, is looking for an assistant to join their sales staff on a 4 month contract to cover maternity leave. Training will be provided.
Candidates should:
Have a high level of competency in Microsoft office, switchboard management, and client/supplier liaison.
Pay great attention to detail,
Have exceptional time management proficiency
Have good interpersonal skills.
NB!
A clear speaking voice and phone etiquette are essential.
Having a Driver’s Licence is an advantage!
Initial responsibilities include:
Switchboard management
Data capturing to our CRM
Supplier bookings
Calendar and diary management
Sourcing venues and suppliers
Obtaining quotes
Qualifications
Matric
Higher Certificate
