Job Description:

The Technician will be trained to undertake the following in the technical support department:

Assembly

Automation irrigation dosing units
Controllers in cabinets with protection devices
 Radio units
Testing software

Troubleshoot

Controller hardware
Controller software
Generally assist dealers over the phone
Sometimes assist end-users (farmers) over the phone
Travel to site if necessary


Train dealers - in office; at dealers’ premises; on-site


Qualifications:

National Diploma/BTech/Degree in one of the following disciplines:

Engineering/Agriculture
Driving Licence
5 years’ relevant experience

Preferred skills/fields of knowledge:

ELV electrical systems
Computer hardware systems
Hydraulics
