You will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build the broad use of AWS’ rich portfolio of services directly with our key customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in architectural/engineering discussions to ensure solutions are designed and engineered for successful deployment in the cloud
Implement AWS projects on the basis of Proposals and in alignment with security best practices
Conforming and Contributing to a DevOps culture
Scripting Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation/Teraform and setting up CICD/Pipelines for customers using AWS Services (CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline)
Build and migrate customers to a secure, scalable and highly available environment on AWS, following the principles of the AWS Well-Architected Framework
Requirements gathering in meetings to take ownership of actionable items, where applicable
Contributing to Silicon’s customer-facing publications such as blogs, case studies and Clayvilles to provide insights and achievements
Help provide training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS

Requirements:

AWS Developer, AWS SysOps or AWS Solutions Architect Associate Certification
2-3 years’ experience in working as a DevOps Engineer or Software Engineer
2-3 years’ experience on working on AWS with key AWS Services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, VPCs, EKS/ECS etc.)
Linux Server support (2+ years)
Web technologies such as Apache, Tomcat, Nginx, HAProxy and others (2+ years)
Database technologies such as MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB etc. (2+ years)
High level expertise with key AWS services (2 years+)
Scripting Bash, YAML/JSON and knowing at least one major programming language (Java, C#, Python, Ruby etc.)
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
Experience with aspects of DevOps (including CICD using AWS Services)
Experience working in Consulting and/or Outsourcing companies
Ability to set priorities, goals and timelines to achieve maximum productivity
Ability to effectively exchange information, news, ideas and meaning in business and technical environments
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Ability and willingness to learn new technologies quickly

Beneficial:

Any Additional AWS Associate certificate, DevOps Professional or Solutions Architect Professional certificates
Windows Server support (2+ years)
Experience with Puppet, Chef and other automation tools
Experience with AWS Services such as Athena, QuickSight, ElasticSearch, ElastiCache, CloudFront, Beanstalk, SQS etc.
Experience creating SOWs
