AXIS TOOL LEAD FOR PRICING
Dublin, Paris, Zurich and Toronto

Responsible for the transfer of existing pricing models to Moody’s AXIS as well as being the AXIS expert for EMELA.

• Transferring existing pricing models to Moody’s AXIS
• Develop and enforce best practices for model set-up
• Review and provide recommendations on the current model set up and process for new quotes
• Track software issues and act as main contact for EMELA with Moody’s for software development needs and bug fixes
• Train other EMELA Moody’s AXIS users in the use and development of the AXIS models
• Develop and maintain models for new products within EMELA
• Consider and potentially set up a model office for key countries
• Liaise with the global AXIS tool lead providing feedback and suggestions on the global model set up with a focus on the needs of EMELA

• Qualified actuary or an experienced professional with university degree in relevant field (Actuarial, Statistics, IT, Engineering)
• 7 or more years working experience in Life & Health pricing in the (re)insurance field, with a strong Moody’s AXIS model development background.
• Expert knowledge of Moody’s AXIS actuarial software
• Strong experience in building and maintaining Life pricing models
• Advanced knowledge of Life business
• Experience in specification, development and testing of actuarial and data transformation software
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English
The following experience will be advantageous:
• Reinsurance knowledge
• Expertise in the R language
• Familiarity of integrating tools into Moody’s AXIS
