Your key job responsibilities as the Back-End Software Developer in Johannesburg will include:

- Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs
- Testing and evaluating new programs
- Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
- Writing and implementing efficient code
- Determining operational practicality
- Developing quality assurance procedures
- Deploying software tools, processes and metrics
- Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
- Training users
- Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts

Requirements for this Back-End Software Developer job in Johannesburg:

- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Programming and Development, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics and Physics
- Banking experience a plus
- Strong object-orientated programming skills, primarily in ASP.NET Core
- Experience in developing web frontends using Angular
- Knowledge of Angular, ASP.NET Core, Java Spring Boot, Entity Framework, Python, Docker/Kubernetes, Linux operating systems, Git and GitLab
- Minimum three years of relevant experience
- Predictive analytics and big data processing highly advantageous
