We are looking for a skilled and highly organised FOODS FACTORY and MANUFACTURING MANAGER for this growing bakery production in Stellenbosch. The position is ideally suited to candidates with experience within high volume food production units / suppliers to Woolworths, Checkers & the Spar Group.

Primary areas of responsibility involve the optimization of Stocks (Fresh and Frozen); Production Teams for various departments as well as packers; Holding Freezer Stocks; HACCP standards and enforcement of controls; Bakery and Hot Foods Production Management including staff scheduling, Training, Food Quality Standards & Equipment; Drivers and Logistics; Buildings & Maintenance and Waste Disposal.

Essential Qualifications:
Diploma in Production and or Manufacturing Management and Business Accounting or related qualification

SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED
Computer literate: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills required both verbally and in writing towards clients and management.
Deadline driven.
Sound administrative knowledge / experience.
Exceptional attention to detail.
