Banqueting Manager.

Exclusive 5* Golf Estate - Waterberg - Limpopo
Be in full control of the Estate's Banqueting Department.
Hospitality Management Degree or Diploma.
Planning, coordinating, and marketing all banquet activities efficiently.
Responsible for planning the venue set up as per the customer’s requirements.
Coordinate with the Head Chef for meal timings and ensuring timely completion.

SKILL SET REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or relevant field
• 3-5 previous experience as a Banquet Manager, Restaurant Manager, or proven years’
experience in the hotel industry in management position
• Excellent organizational and managerial skills with proven track record of running multi venue
operations
• Knowledge of hotel industry standards and practices, (Marriott brand standards advantageous)
• Excellent Decision-making ability, Strong communication skills, high level of leadership skills
• Ability to work for long and irregular hours, shift work to include weekends, public holidays, and
evenings
• Good problem solver, team player, good conflict management skills and time management skills
• Thorough understanding of laws and regulation pertaining to events, health, safety and hygiene
and crowd control and event management
• Thorough understanding of the BCEA, EEA, OHSA and ability drive a high-performance driven
team.
• Available and presentable always
• Valid driver’s licence essential, own transport advantageous
• First Aid Level 3 Qualification advantageous
• Willing to be vaccinated
