Key responsibilities:

To deliver an elevated level of service to all clients. This includes direct clients, financial advisers and senior executives. The type of services staff provides ranges from tax, unit trusts, investments, annuities, pension funds, death claims, discussing the current economy, global events that affect the world stock markets and so on.


You will receive exposure and training in all aspects of the business, including Unit Trust, Fund of Funds, Life Funds, Regulation 28, Annuities (this is not covered by any university course), Performance Calculation and Attribution etc. You will also be trained on how to do presentations. This role prepares you for a career and growth in the Investment / Asset Management industry!

Qualifications:

*You have a degree (not a diploma). If you hold an undergraduate degree it will be advantageous if you are studying towards an honours or other post grad qualification. GPA - at least 60%

*Types of degrees: Honours or Masters (or studying towards a post grad qualification in Finance / BCom Law / Financial Management / BCom Management / Risk Management / Economics / Portfolio Management and Investment Analysis / Economic Sciences or degree etc. (excellent results)

*Other degrees: LLB / Engineering / Geology / Psychology etc and wish to pursue a career in the Investment / Finance / Asset Management industries are welcome to apply. However, you will need to motivate why you want to move into the investment industry.

*A solid Matric pass mark with pure Mathematics (minimum 60% pass)

Specific responsibilities include:

To service investors, potential investors and financial advisers with transactions and queries for all products telephonically and via written correspondence through:

*Discussion and explanation of all funds and products offered by the company.

*Assisting clients with process information and quotes.

*Assisting clients with the tracking and follow up of transactions in progress.

*Responding to queries regarding investment performance.

*Clarifying and explaining company''''s investment approach and philosophy

*To ensure accurate record keeping through service related administrative tasks.

*To provide assistance to the Service Support team and walk-in-centre team as and when required.

*To assist with database updates and information maintenance.

*To support a positive and responsive climate for client enquiry resolution.

*To play a key role in the stewardship of positive client relationships and the retention of clients.

*To build and establish relationships at all levels with internal departments to enhance organisational effectiveness and efficiency.

*To actively participate in the organisation''s continuous improvement by identifying and proposing solutions to process and service related failures

*Participate in ad hoc projects
