BI Analyst with minimum 3 years’ relevant experience, preferably in the financial services industry, required to join one of the largest Short Term Insurance Brokerage in South Africa, based in Cape Town.

Minimum requirements:
• Bachelor Degree required
• SQL
• Qlikview
• QlikSense
• SSRS
• VB Scripting
• Minimum 3 years’ experience essential
• Basic knowledge of Sage Evolution and People 300 advantageous
• CIMS knowledge advantageous

Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders
• Understand and translate need of department and stakeholders into technical/BI solutions
• Design, build and deploy BI Solutions – management dashboards
• Assist with new technology projects
• Maintain and support data analysis tools – Qlik, SQL
• Reporting – new and cancelled business, facility reporting, EXCO (financial reporting), Branch performance reporting
• Facilitate system data exports for finance
• Claims reporting
• New business dashboard
• Annual reporting – budgets and forecasting, auditing
• Specific reports to analyse profitability and other needs of management
• Implement and coordinate processes and finance information system change and enhancements
• Analyse and report on cash flow, cost controls and expenses
• Provide trend analytics and business metrics
• Track individual departments against budget
• Support corporate finance responsibilities - due diligence, financial modelling, forecasting through dashboards, analysis and reporting
• Support CEO with investor relations by way of reporting
• Manage and oversee budget process – forecasting and expenditure for budget purpose
• Responsible for business forecast and analysis
• Oversee and take part in audit process
