This position requires a motivated, energetic, inquisitive and highly numerate person who has a solid technical base, but who also possesses an appreciation for numbers. Someone who understands the value that can be derived from interrogating numbers and adding value and solutions to the Acquisition Marketing team and the rest of the business. The successful candidate will be a data warehouse specialist, who is proud to design and implement a dimensional model and present the findings, derived from the data it contains. This position reports to the Analytics Insights Manager.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

Integration of new sources of data into Company databases, so that it can also be analyzed and included in relevant reports
Integration of data into relevant workflow processes, with the specific aim of continuously adding value to business data
Conceptualizing, defining and delivering new reports, as well as improving existing ones
Analysis of data from various sources in order to ensure that the Business acts proactively on the information at its disposal
Continually searching for new and useful ways to obtain, integrate and analyze data that is relevant to the
Company’s business model
Education of report end-users, so as to ensure a maximum spread of expertise around the Company
Essential Criteria:

Tertiary Degree with majors in IS / math / stats / engineering or similar
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with SQL
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with the MS Business Intelligence Stack (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS / PowerBI)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with reporting and analytics using vast amounts of data or reporting cubes
Experience in creating management reports
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, functions)
Solid knowledge and understanding of Business metrics and processes
Desirable Criteria:

Strong business intelligence background
Experience in Online marketing from branded display to direct response channels
Solid knowledge and understanding of Digital Marketing and Search Engine optimization best practices
Experience with online marketing cloud data platforms and API’s (Google Analytics, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), third party marketing data providers)
Experience with statistical software such as R, Matlab, Octave, Python, Statistica, etc.
Experience with Stats, spreadsheets, graphs and programing languages (C#, Python, JavaScript)
Solid knowledge and understanding of the technology behind web pages and digital capabilities including cookies, HTML and JavaScript
Experience with VBA, data mining and stats software
