Top Construction firm seeks Bookkeeper - Construction. Compile and manage company accounts.

* Basic understanding of GL level variance analysis

* Monthly Financial Reporting

* 5 years Accounting and Bookkeeping

* 2 years Journals, Recons, Ledgers, VAT

* 2 years Financial Reporting

* 3 years Pastel

What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Construction sector. All duties would take place in this context.

* Supervise Clerical Processing

* Supervise Debtors and Creditors

* Journals & Recons

* VAT & Tax

* Basic Financial Reporting

Key Job Deliverables:

* Ensure Accurate Data Capture and Processing

* Correct Completion of Company Books

* Ensure Accurate Reporting

Background work experience:

* 5 years Accounting and Bookkeeping

* 2 years Journals, Recons, Ledgers, VAT

* 2 years Financial Reporting

* 3 years Pastel

* Bookkeeping Certificate or Bcom Accounting

* Exceptional Bookkeeper

* Full bookkeeping function on Pastel

* Journals, Balance Sheet, Inventory, Assets, Bank and Treasury, Creditors, Debtors, Cashflow, VAT, sales ledger, purchase ledger, stock ledger

* Reporting like costs, profits & projections

* Fully Pastel Literate

* Advantageous: Tax Expertise

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of R240K to R300K per annum. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
