Job at Glance To process general ledger, journals, creditors, petty cash, bank reconciliations, electronic bank fund transfers and intercompany statements.

Required Prior Learning
? Grade 12, Bookkeeping/Accounting or relevant diploma
? Sound Bookkeeping knowledge
? Knowledge of MS office, Excel advance and other accounting packages
? Bookkeeping experience a must have (at least 3 years)
? Oracle experience will be an advantage
? Previous experience in a FMCG or factory environment a necessity
? Experience with stock reconciliation a necessity

Key Objectives
? Capturing and controlling of all journal entries
? Prepare journal entries for sundry ledger adjustments
? Reconcile loan amounts, investigate and clear differences
? Reconcile and control accounts with subsidiary trail balances, investigate and clear differences
? Approved capex matched to invoices
? Fixed Assets verified are updated and can be audited
? Management reports on fixed assets
? Download fix asset register to general ledger
? Notify users of assets expiring and organise replenishments
? Accounts balanced
? Preparation of journals and documentation
? Posting journals to general ledger
? Provisions and accruals
? Inter-company documents prepared
? Respond to queries form intercompanies
? Software systems problems sorted out
? Assist staff with queries
