Our client owns a general trading company in Loeriesfontein in the Northern Cape, around 420 kms from Cape Town. They currently have a position open for a Bookkeeper whose responsibility would be to do the bookkeeping up to trial balance of the company as well as general administrative functions. Our client offers a two bedroom apartment which will be included in the ctc package they offer, with the basic salary of R12 000 per month.
Duties will include:
Stock control, daily cash-ups, bank reconciliations, salary and wages/payroll administration, procurement administration, creditors and debtors reconciliations, SARS e-filing (VAT and EMP), and other general administration functions.
Experience and qualifications:
A minimum of grade 12 while a tertiary bookkeeping qualification would be beneficial.
At least 3 years general bookkeeping experience is needed.
