BRANCH ASSISTANT – ROAD SAFETY PRODUCTS (EASTERN CAPE)

A suitable candidate is required for a Branch Assistant – Road Safety Products, for a Branch based in Port Elizabeth.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Answer general phone enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
• Great visitors to the organisation in a professional and friendly manner.
• Assign incoming calls, mail, faxes and deliveries to the appropriate staff member.
• Dealing with customers telephonically or by E-mail regarding the issuing of quotations, following up of existing orders and following up on
outstanding quotations.
• Must be computer literate and be able to use computer word processing (MS Word), Spreadsheets (MS Excel), Syspro and other software
as required. Data Entry and upkeep of the organisation databases ensuring a high level of accuracy.
• Prepare and send outgoing faxes, mail and packages.
• Preparing and Issuing of company quotations and processing of all Sales Contract Forms.
• Provide Administrative Support and General Assistance to management and Sales Staff.
• Handling of Cash Sales, Petty Cash and Non- Stock purchasing.
• Responsible for the receiving and dispatching of stock which may include the offloading and loading of trucks.
• Ensuring Stock is packed and stored properly and that the warehouse is kept neat.
• Assisting clients when they are collecting goods and verifying that correct orders are loaded.
• May be required to do deliveries from time to time.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• National Senior Certificate.
• Previous internal Sales Experience. Will be preferred.
• Computer Literacy.
• Good Administration skills.
• Excellent Telephone manner.
• Ability to communicate with and deal with customers at a Senior Level.
• Previous Technical Experience (Preferred)
• Must be in possession of a valid Code 08 Driver’s licence.
• Preference will be given to EE candidates.

SALARY

• R11,500.00 with medical and pension
