Our Client, one of the leading companies in the luxury industry is currently looking for a Brand
Activation Manager for their office in Cape Town, South Africa.

In this role, you work closely with Retail-suppliers on a joint marketing plan and ensure that each
brand meets the business objective and is marketed correctly for its customers.

Skills:
• Degree in Brand Management or equivalent
• 5 years Brand Management and Activation experience within the South African Retail
• Environment
• Luxury FMCG experience (Beauty related)
• Passion for the Health and Beauty sector
• Business acumen combined with P&L Management
• Understanding of trends
• Strong Communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Affinity for Teamwork
• Creativity and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient in relevant computer systems

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for budget planning and customer management
• Deliver results in pursuit of stretch targets
• Retail perfect on-time execution of the marketing plans
• Develop customer differentiation strategy via tailored Key Account activation calendar
• Exploit market specific events (Christmas, Mother’s Day, etc)
• Lead production, design adaption as well as logistics with suppliers, agencies and distributors
• Execute all activations, including promotions, promotional merchandising assets, in store
• execution, influencers activation (when retailer-specific
• Recommend BA/promoters needs for each activation + lead the trainings (with help of
• marketing on the brand part) and trade marketing/ trainers on the BA part
• Own distributors onboarding on brands and marketing
• Monitor timeline with brand and trade marketing as well as external partners
• Key contributor to tailoring of IMP for local market
• Lead the KA quantitative/ qualitative activation post-analysis
• Feed the brand and trade marketing teams with competition intelligence
