Brand Manager - Cape Town


Leading Retail seeks qualified / experienced Brand Manager with Retails sector experience to join their dynamic team in their Financial Services division.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, development and implementation of brand strategies and marketing of financial services.

Minimum requirements:

Bachelor's Degree (3 years)/ NQF level 7
5 - 8 years Marketing experience
Financial services experience within the retail for FMCG sector a must
Knowledge / Understanding of Digital Marketing
Current knowledge / experience of online marketing concepts and best practice
Financial services marketing strategy

Key responsibilities and tasks:

Provides branding direction and develops and executes brand marketing programs of financial services within the business
Ensure all marketing and communication of the financial services capability is aligned to the overall business marketing strategy
Ensure continuous profitability and business growth of the financial services capability
Responsible for the development and management of budget compliance
Drive the achievement of set sales targets to ensure the implemented marketing strategy yields sales results
Develop and maintain long term, profitable relationships with customers and suppliers
Reviews market research to anticipate competition and market trends and translate customer insights into new branding directions
Develop and maintain access to premium markets to ensure long term sustainability
Develop and execute end-to-end strategies and marketing plans for all areas and products of the financial services department appropriate for the various market segments.
