Paracon is actively building up a talent database of skilled Business Analysts to support our clients’ continuous need for growth. We are ideally looking for Business Analysts with Financial Services / Investment / Asset Management industry experience.

We ‘almost always’ have Business Analysis opportunities available in Johannesburg and Cape Town for permanent or contract positions.

As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role as a problem solver and be the person who assists in defining and enabling business change in an agile environment. Your primary responsibility is to deliver solutions that are fit for purpose, that focus on efficiencies and that deliver business value.

Key Responsibilities:
Performing research and requirements gathering, process analysis, investigating existing functionality, gap analysis and participating in the design of new functionality to ensure functionality/products satisfy the client’s requirements.
Participating in project walkthroughs: business requirements gathering, design walkthrough and functional test plans and implementation sessions.
Preparing detailed use case descriptions and documentation.

Performing testing to ensure quality is maintained.
Contributing to the implementation of new projects and communicating effectively between internal and external stakeholders to ensure project satisfaction is maintained.
Providing user training.
Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships.

Minimum Requirements:
Matric.
Relevant IT tertiary qualification.
Business Analysis Certification (Highly advantageous).
2 – 3 years’ experience – To be considered as a Junior Business Analyst.
3 – 5 years’ experience – To be considered as an Intermediate Business Analyst.
5+ years’ experience – To be considered as a Senior Business Analyst.
Banking / Financial / Investment / Asset Management industry experience (Preferred).

Location & Job Type:
Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Most of our roles are Hybrid but we do get Remote ones now and again.
