The function of the Business Controller role is to support the integration of business into the global company by acting as a bridge between operations and divisional functions. The Business Controller ensures accurate financial reporting, enhances organisational efficiency, and maintains effective communication within the business with other functions.

R1 200 000 – R1 800 000 per annum
RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities include providing financial analysis and business trend insights to the General Manager and Business Line Managers, safeguarding internal controls, focusing on cost accounting and inventory analysis, ensuring compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements, managing assets, and participating in various project teams.
The role requires strong business analysis skills, experience in finance and business control, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills.
Cost accounting and Inventory analysis is going to be a focus area, and we expect you to have a high interest in operational processes and take proactive actions, as well as communicating with stakeholders concerned.
Following up of internal business policies and procedures, in line with local legal and group requirements. Putting in place and manage best practice of applied processes.
Maintaining a close working relationship with all divisions, including preparation and presentation of Business Review & Company Review meetings as well as follow up of divisional objectives, projects and expectations.
Managing assets, including overall responsibility for collection and inventory management. Pro-active highlighting of red flags where necessary and putting in place action plans when and where necessary.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
CA(SA) with 7 years commercial experience · Manufacturing, Engineering, OEM and Mining industry knowledge · Minimum +7 years’ experience working with senior executives · Business analysis skills with solid experience in finance and business control. · Familiarity with general accounting principles, IFRS, cost accounting, and statutory accounting rules.
At least 5 years of managerial experience in a similar environment.
