RS Recruitment Services is assisting a large Logistics Company based in New Germany,
to recruit a Business Development Officer for Training Centre.

OUR CLIENT HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR ALMOST 30 YEARS AND ARE MARKET LEADERS IN SOUTHERN AFRICA. THEY OFFER RIGGING, MACHINE MOVING, WAREHOUSING AND TRAINING.

Applicants should have/be the following:
Matriculation Certificate
Post Matric Technical / Production related qualification or sales/marketing Diploma – an advantage
Must have sales experience - preferably with technical training
Experience with new business development – an advantage
Computer literate – MS Office proficient (Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
Must be able to put together a Sales & Marketing Strategy and do reports on progress
If you come from a sales/training background – an advantage
Experience in various training programs/methods – an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
Excellent negotiation skills.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Assisting with designing and implementing a strategic Sales and Marketing strategies that expands and retains company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.
Actively seek opportunities to promote and maximise the training facility.
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
New business development including cold calling on new prospects and maintaining current clients.
Customer liaison – first point of contact, preparing of proposals and quotations.
Meeting of targets and maintaining database and client files.
Order processing and query resolution.
Customer Liaison – first point of contact.
Present sales reports and realistic forecasts to the Managers
Office administrative support.


Remuneration:
RR18k to 20k subject to successful person’s qualification & experience.
