Our client in Cape Town, who inter alia renders Drone Analytics Services through gathering high tech data by Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV – Drones) to mining companies is looking to appoint a Business Development Executive who has solid sales and marketing experience in the South African Mining Industry. The ideal candidate would have to be able to do cold calling on big mining companies to market and sell the company’s drone analytic services to them. The person should be attracted to a start-up environment where he/she would have to grow the drone services of the company and expand it to a successful operation.
Requirements:
At least 3 years’ experience of servicing, selling and marketing in the local mining industry. A general interest in the aviation sector and, especially in the drone industry is required. If the person is qualified as a drone pilot it would be beneficial. A relevant tertiary qualification is required and the candidates should be fluent in English/Afrikaans; and with excellent communication skills.
