Business Development Manager Paarden Eiland
Well established National Client is looking for a Business Development Manager / Commercial Manager with Refrigeration experience in wholesale FMCG and distribution. Must be able to travel regular Nationally.
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience with Benefits.
Minimum Requirements:
• Matric, with Tertiary Education
• 5+ years’ experience as Business Development Manager
• Must have FMCG and Distribution Industry experience
• Valid Drivers License and Own vehicle.
• Must be ITC and Criminal Record clear.
Key Duties:
Develop Relationships with Clients
• Build relationships with clients to establish new contracts.
• They also develop strong relationships with different departments within their company to ensure everyone is working toward the same targets and goals.
Create Plans for Business Growth
• Developing strategic plans to encourage business growth is a regular duty.
• They use analytics to create action plans that are based off data and statistics and interpret results against targets.
Develop Pricing Structures
• Risk assessments and pricing structures for products to work toward commercial efforts.
• Financial planning and budgeting are an important aspect of this job.
Oversee and Direct Contractors
• Responsible for overseeing staff/recruitment, suppliers, and contractors to ensure that deadlines are met.
• If issues arise with contractors, commercial managers work with them to resolve the problem as quickly as possible so as not to affect the schedule.
Data Analysis
• Analyse data and existing reports (build reports were necessary) to identify business optimisations and growth streams
