PBT Group has an opportunity for a BI Consultant.

Duties:
- Executes data cleansing and enrichment work
- Explain to the data migration team (internal and external specialists) how legacy system fields are used currently, as well as business rules that apply to processing the data objects
- Using data quality analyses prepared by the data migration specialists, works through the BU data to identify duplicates, close gaps in data, verify that the data is accurate and complete, and to confirm obsolescence.
- Works to enrich data to prepare it for loading into AOP, including building new data (that does not exist in the legacy systems) based on rules provided. This could include encoding items (materials, vendors, assets, tactics, cost centres, and more) based on rules provided by the SAP functional teams.
- Design and implements controls over data migration, e.g. vendor master file record counts, balancing totals, etc.
- Verifies that data has been loaded/ created correctly into AOP.
- Executes according to a data preparation tracker and reports status of completion in terms of objects scrubbed, enriched, archived, deleted or other data activity.
- Liaises closely with their counterparts in the functional teams to ensure that data is prepared according to the application design.
- Assists with mock conversion and actual cut-over to production from a data preparation and verification perspective.

Experience:
- Solid working experience required to fulfil duties required as a BI Consultant.

Qualifications/ Certification:
- A degree in Computer Science / Information Systems / Business Administration / Commerce or equivalent
