Job Description –Insights / Qlikview/Excel and PowerPoint: Perform statistical analysis Clients DC and STORE scan data against Supplier sales performances, prior to supplier meetings with Managers.
- Identify patterns and correlations and trends among the various data points monthly.
- Design and create data reports to help business executives in their decision making
- Create data dashboards, graphs and visualizations
- Monitor and audit data quality
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to understand data content
- Evolve with the data reporting needs of the department
- Assist the Group Category Controller in preparing department budgets and reporting, growth rebates for year-end target chase, and maximization of Growth Rebates earned.
- Assist the Group Category and Imports Manager with internationally procured product:
- Assist with buyer’s product selection meeting(s) by preparing samples product information and accurate costing.
- Coordinate effective product exhibit for DC Trade shows
- Assist the Groups Import Manager with all aspects of the Groups Foods Imports Program - Assist with Listing and Pricing on AS400, ensure competitive price points with adequate GP’S - Stock holding reporting and communication
- Assist with analysing of the product performance, and reporting to various stakeholders
- Keep abreast with new product trends
- Support International Supplier Relationships- ON the Go Kiosk
- Traditional Queue - Communal Queue - Treat Street &Pet care, SPAR Natural and any other
- Assist in maintaining of National Front End Strategies ensuring all strategies are implemented.
- Assist in Coordinating DC CATMAN, retailers and suppliers by implementing national Front - End Strategies. Assist in developing concept Planograms
- Assist with managing the Concept Budget - Keep abreast with new trends and process for competitive advantage. - Analysis of SPAR DC and STORE scan data against Supplier Sales Performances. - Source and analysis research to drive category growth - Develop and grow towards a potential Replenishment Controller/ Category Buyer or CAT MAN coordinator role. - Generally, to provide assistance and support to the Group Merchandise Manager and Category Managers and Controllers as required Criteria: *
