Our client based in Cape Town provides solutions to operations on the African Continent in various fields such as industrial, energy, engineering and foods services. They would like to appoint a Business Unit Manager in Pemba, Mozambique who would be in charge of the management and business development of the activities of the Group’s Mozambican subsidiary, within the Cabo Delgado Province. The Mozambican entity is a service company involved in the Energy sector in the supply chain, offshore and onshore. It is dealing both in Food and Industrial goods. The manager will be responsible for developing the activities of the subsidiary by implementing the Group commercial strategy as well as ensuring a smooth and robust ground operation out of the Pemba warehouse. The successful candidate would be responsible for:
· Operations’ Management to ensure optimal client satisfaction and for supply chain coordination, local and international procurement.

· Management of the BU in terms of profitability, budget control, HR functions, and reporting to the Group.

· Stock management through the implementation of group processes and inventory management and ensure that quality and health regulations are applied.

· Commercial Development by promoting of all the products’ ranges and doing commercial follow up work and reporting back to the Group.

· Infrastructure Management and Control of storage and moving equipment and vehicles.

Education:
· Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma.

Experience needed:
· Managerial experience a must (5-10 years)

· Oil & Gas experience a plus

· African experience (remote operational site) a plus

Language proficiencies:
· English mandatory

· Portuguese will be an advantage.

· Italian and French if some knowledge will be beneficial.
