CENTURION
R700 - 900 000 p.a. package CTC + quarterly and annual incentive bonuses

Lead & manage the poultry team to ensure achievement of defined strategic goals and financial objectives. The complexity and scope of this position requires the BUM to constantly balance priorities, adapt to ever-changing external and internal challenges, think strategically, act independently and decisively using sound business judgment.

• Tertiary Degree and 3-5 years Animal Health industry experience running a Sales Force
• Fully Bilingual (English/ Afrikaans)
• Clean driver’s licence and own vehicle
• Hunter type personality with strong customer focus
• Quantitative and financial understanding
• Understanding of nutrition and biological function in poultry
• Understanding poultry diseases
• People management and development
• Good understanding of regulatory environment
• Working knowledge of scientific basis of MFA, Nutritional Product lines and Vaccines and how products deliver value to producers.
• Strong negotiator

Commercial/Financial Success
- Deliver agreed upon Commercial operating plans, budgets and forecasts, ensuring sales, expenses and RPC either meets or exceeds targets.
- Ensure financial control of the market, maintaining financial integrity consistent with the core values.
- Generate and protect short- and long-term revenue streams.
- Leverage technology and process enhancements to improve financial results.
- Accurately forecast cash flows.
- Manage overall compliance of the company and business operation.

Planning
- Develop a deep and practical understanding of customer needs within the market.
- Ensure the development of the strategic and operating plan and budget that meets or exceeds company goals while optimizing position in the local market and enhances and/or maintains its global position.
- Ensure the optimal allocation of resources needed to achieve the goals and objectives of the strategic plan.
- Ensure the creation and execution of a flexible and adaptive strategic operating plan that incorporates rapid change.
- Prioritize and focus the organization's direction and energy on those activities that will ensure sustained commercial success.
- Develop expertise in designing, integrating and leading complex organizational systems through ongoing change.
Functional Strategy
- Ensure the implementation of new and revised strategies within agreed upon timeframes that reflect overall organizational priorities, and factor in the impact on team structure, resource allocation and staff development.
- Ensure that staff and suppliers understand, monitor, and implement global strategies locally.
- Fully align and leverage the resources of worldwide functions to meet local goals.
- Use cross-functional approaches to find innovative ways to bring new products to launch. Expand and broaden penetration as well as seek new market opportunities for existing products.
Business/Product Development
- Ensure the successful identification, planning and exploitation of new products, brands or trade opportunities to develop the business in line with PAHC’s strategic direction.
- Proactively manage and maximize value from the entire product pipeline (rather than a few products).
- Ensure the successful, sustained development of business alliances.
Analyze strategy plans to identify sales and/or profit gaps and whether a new brand / line extension / acquisition is required
