Our client, in the retail industry, requires the service of a Butchery Trainer/ Assessor to deliver and facilitate high quality Butchery Training.

Key performance areas:

? Engage and motivate learners and employers towards timely and successful completion of qualifications and programmes.
? Train and assess learners against according to company standards
? Ensure clients are compliant with local and national Food Safety standards
? Encourage and foster sales leads through building and maintaining positive relationships with all clients (e.g. providing advice and support).
? Monitor and track progress of learners to ensure learning outcomes are achieved in a timely and cost effective manner.
? Meet performance targets as communicated & agreed.
? Support and work with the wider Food team in Food/SHE related initiatives, administration, programmes and qualifications as required.
? Comply with all policies, procedures and legislation

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a relevant qualification
? 2 – 3 Years training and assessing experience within the food industry / 2 – 3 years as a specialist in the meat industry
? Must have knowledge of Meat Market hygiene and safety standards
? Excellent planning and organizational skills
? Excellent administrative skills
? Excellent written & verbal communication skills (English & Afrikaans)
? Punctual and reliable
? Must be accurate and detail orientated
? Must have excellent people skills
? Excellent numerical and literacy skills
? Must have a valid driver’s license
? Must be willing to travel
