This position is responsible for the buying of Fluid Control products such as Flanges, Valves, Pipes & Fittings and related products.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Candidate must have exceptional product knowledge of Flanges, Valves, Pipes & Fittings and related Fluid Control products
• Minimum 5-10 years’ experience required within a Fluid Buyer job function - i.e. sourcing products locally and internationally
• Candidate will be required to travel internationally to the Far East to meet with Suppliers
• Required to meet with local and international Suppliers and negotiate pricing etc.
• Experience and knowledge required in relationship building in terms of dealing with international manufacturers in fluid products
• Experience and knowledge in dealing with the importing of products from overseas / internationally (i.e. tariffs, exchange rates, clearing & forwarding etc.)
- Working Hours: 07:30 – 17:00 Mondays to Fridays and every alternative Saturday and Public Holiday from 08:00 – 13:00 in accordance with a roster system
- Syspro experience advantageous
• Formal qualification in Purchasing / Buying (advantageous)
