Role Description:
A Buyer is responsible for procuring goods or services as required by business; at the right quality, price, time, place and quantity in order to support the business process. The Buyer will govern the entire process from order placing to delivery in order to deliver SERVICE excellence to our internal and external customers.

Requirements:
• CIPS / ISM Certification desirable (complete / in progress)
• 5 years procuring / buyer experience
• Imports knowledge and experience
• SYSPRO knowledge will be an advantage
• Microsoft excel intermediate
• Good mathematical skills
• Product knowledge will be an advantage (security related products)

Responsibilities:
• An opportunity exists for a Digital Marketing & Content Co-Ordinator to join our Marketing Team based in Johannesburg. The main purpose of this role is to optimize the online marketing campaigns in order to ensure customer engagement.
• Handle all price requests, due date requests, and other queries from internal customers promptly.
• Issue RFQ’s to Suppliers and select best source based on quality, cost and delivery date.
• Convert RFQ’s to Purchase Orders once they have been accepted and expedite deliveries.
• Handle price and Supplier queries.
• Act as a liaison between Suppliers and internal customers.
• Build Supplier Relationships.
• Complete COD payment requests.
• Maintain inventory levels in line with stock policy holding
• Maintain stock code accuracy in Syspro.
• Maintain Purchase orders according to the Syspro Optimizer system.
• Monitor Supplier performance and assist HOD with Supplier KPI Maintenance
• Understand the impact of contracts that include cost, warranties, delivery, handling and penalties for late delivery and cost overruns.
• Oversee Imports when the Shipping Administrator is on leave.
• Assist Team members with tasks if and when required to the benefit of the department and company.
