Central Reservation Consultant.

To manage the reservations department of 2 Game Lodges and would also be involved with reservations across the collective lodges

introducing and promoting reservations within the group and into individual itineraries for both the individual traveler and the trade.

Based in Mtunzini North Coast KZN

Essential Requirements :
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Attention to detail
• Excellent organization and time management
• Basic IT proficiency - Excel, MS Word, various online booking platforms such as
• Good inter-personal skills
• Well-presented and professional
• 2 - 3 years 5 * Game Lodge / Boutique Hotel reservations experience required.

Prior experience with Reservation Systems
Basic command of Zulu
Experience in Sales and Marketing

• Managing all reservations – both via email and online reservation platforms
• Keeping online reservations platforms up to date
• Managing group reservations and itineraries
• Communicating directly with the lodges on all reservation details
• To ensure that all telephone enquiries are handled politely and professionally and that telephone etiquette and voice tone are appropriate
• Ensuring all written reservation enquiries are professionally responded to within 24 hours
• Process reservations and prepare proforma invoices and confirmation of payments.
• Assist and work closely with Marketing Manager with any information/reports she may need
• Assist and work closely with Lodge Manageress - regarding Lodge reservations.
• Be aware of and maintain relationships with regular guests and tour operators to encourage repeat business.
• Ensuring that tour operator spreadsheet is maintained with accurate STO rates for tour operators
• Cross selling of other properties within the collective and actively pursuing new connections and leads
• Create itineraries around the Collective Members and inspire guests to travel further and longer with the Group

Salary R 9.000 per month on top of this a commission will be offered could be up to 40% in addition to the normal salary.
