Centre Manager
South Coast

Our client, an industry leader in property management in South Africa, seeks to appoint a Centre Manager to one of their large retail centres in Natal. The successful incumbent will have a minimum of 3 years property management skills (preferably in a retail environment).
You will be responsible for managing the Centre by optimising all trading opportunities, including lease agreements, and ensuring that the portfolio financial performance remains sound.

Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum Grade 12.
• A Business Management and/or Property management qualifications will be advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 years retail centre management / property management experience – essential.
• Budget and financial management skills
• Basic building maintenance / technical knowledge.
• Sound knowledge of lease agreements.
• Supplier Contract management.
• Conflict management skills
• Report writing skills
• Project management skills will be advantageous
• People management skills.
• Own vehicle and Driver's license essential

Key Performance Areas:

• Manage the Centre in accordance with company policies, guidelines and procedures
• Ensure profitability of the Centre and sound administration of the Centre.
• Motivate and develop staff.
• Optimizing the building's income stream by establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with tenants,
• Manage and control personnel and service contractors
• Oversee repairs, revamps, tenant installations, inspections and general building administration.
• Manage centre vacancies.
• Responsible for Lease Renewal cycle.
