JOB PURPOSE
The Signa Academy Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) is responsible for leading the development and execution
of the Company’s long-term vision, strategy with a view to creating shareholder value. The CEO has a
leadership role which entails being ultimately responsible for the growth, strategic direction, and
operational effectiveness and efficiency in alignment with Signa culture and values. The CEO acts as a direct
liaison between the Board, shareholders and management of the Company and communicates to the Board
on behalf of management. The CEO also communicates on behalf of the Signa Academy to shareholders,
employees, Government authorities, other stakeholders and the public.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
? Business degree/MBA or learning relevant tertiary qualification at NQF 7+
? Certificate/diploma/extensive experience in Marketing/Sales/Public Relations
? Comprehensive financial skills by qualification or 10+ years’ experience
? Business Development and Management track record
? Comprehensive understanding of FET educational structures
? Comprehensive understanding of B-BBEE and/or Transformation
? Excellent communication and public speaking skills
? Negotiation skills
? Strategic insight and an Innovation mindset
? Structure and discipline focus
