Sovereign Foods, a national supplier of top quality poultry products to markets via various brands is seeking to employ a suitably qualified and experienced Charge Hand X3 in their Commercial Division, the successful incumbent will be based at their Pretoria West Operation. The job holder will report to the Team Leader responsible for the area. The successful candidate must possess a technical Grade 12 certificate or N3 certificate with a supervisory qualification. 2 – 3 years’ experience in the poultry processing industry is a requirement. The position carries a Task Grade of T06.

Results Required

• Ensure that all products produced adhere to quality and food safety requirements
• Ensure that good manufacturing practices are defined and implemented throughout the Department
• Maximize the company profitability through production of an agreed optimal sales mix
• Maximize throughput and efficiencies to world class standards
• Adhere to implement control measures to ensure that overheads are monitored and held within budget.
• Continuously strive to reduce costs through enhanced efficiencies.
• Ensure that the Department and all its functions are compliant with the following relevant legislation.
