This award winning Eat Out Top 10 and Worlds Top 100 listed Restaurant in Cape Town is looking for a highly skilled and creative CDP to cover alternating duties on Hot and Cold Section for a highly complex multi-course fixed menu. We are looking for candidates who are familiar with these high standards and who are committed and able to keep up with the pace in this competitive but team focused kitchen.

About the position:
We are looking for that unique and incredible talent, those young shining stars with amazing culinary skills.
CDP candidates are rotated daily on Cold or Hot Section at the front counter and back production.
Menus change regularly for seasonal lunch and dinner fixed course set menus.
Brigade comprises a passionate team of 17 highly skilled and disciplined chefs.

Acceptance Criteria:
Full-Time Formal Cheffing Qualification from Top Recognised Chef Schools.
2 to 3 years hands-on work experience within 5* FINE DINING / award winning independent restaurants.
Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans & English.
ATTENTION TO DETAIL and advanced technical skill needed in all food production.
Show proven ability to cope under pressure with a positive work ethic and personal commitment.
Must be highly presentable (of good appearance) with excellent personal hygiene due to OPEN PLAN KITCHEN and direct contact with guests.
Must have at least 2 reliable and contactable references
